Adding the Second Floor

We've provided a second floor for two reasons. First to act as a view block so you don't see through the first-floor window when you look into the second floor window. And second, in case you want to detail the interior. The second floor is easy to add so we don't recommend you skip this step, but you can if you like.

Remove the two internal A-frames and second floor from the carrier wood. Then apply a small amount of glue to each notch on one of the A-frames.
Work the notches in the second floor into the matching notches on the A-Frame.
Apply glue to each side of the frame at the very bottom. This is where the frames will glue to the main floor.

Note: The opening in the second floor is where the stairs (if you wanted to add your own) would enter the second floor. You should decide which side of the cabin you'd like this opening to be on before you glue the second floor to the main floor.

Finally, place the A-frames into the matching slots on the main floor, then press the A-frames in place while the glue dries a little.

You now have a second floor in your cabin. The next step is to work on the two roofs.
